How to write to the press editor to publish your views on "Make The Footpaths Clear of Hawkers "?
Q. Efforts were made by the Municipal Corporation as well as the Government of India to clear the footpath of every city from hawkers many years ago. Now again the hawkers are occupying the footpath.
Write a letter to the editor of a newspaper (English Dailly ) giving your views about eviction -drive which is to be taken properly by the authorities to make the footpaths clear of hawkers.

Respected Sir,
A few years back the government and the Kolkota municipal corporation authorities took steps to clear the pavements of the city of the hawkers. But alas! the pedestrian have again lost their right to walk along the pavements. The hawkers have again occupied the footpath.
The pavement in some important areas of Kolkata are found to be no longer meant for the pedestrians. The pavements of Shyambazar, Hatibagan, Sealdah,Gariahat etc. have again become crowded by the hawkers. The eviction - drive taken through 'Operation Sunshine ' perhaps has fallen flat. To support the causes of the hawkers, some political parties and leaders are neglecting the basic civil-right of the public.
The unauthorised occupation of footpath by the hawkers, however, can by no means be supported. Something must be done to clear the footpath. The Government and the Municipal authorities should take proper action immediately.
