Letter writing abut a SHORT TRIP to Darjeeling
Write a letter(in about 120 words) to your friend telling him About a short trip you made recently with your parents to an interesting place in West Bengal.
My dear Jeet,
Hope life is colourful for you! I am quite happy, just returned from a short trip to Mirik in Darjeeling district. It is approx. 50 km from New Jalpaiguri station and a slow journey of one and half an hours with a panoramic view of the Himalayas. Mom, dad and Sruti were also there and we stayed in a hotel overlooking a beautiful orchard full of oranges with the majestic Kanchenjunga in the background. It was a welcome break for a week from heat of Kolkata . On our return journey we boarded the Darjeeling Mail from New Jalpaiguri station and back we were in Kolkata after twelve hours. It was a short memorable trip. I will show you the photographs when we meet.
